Hamburg and Berlin are well off

The two biggest German Cities are pleased about the positive development of the number of overnights stays. Despite the crisis both cities were able to post positive figures between January and April.

 

Hamburg as well as the capital Berlin are very pleased. During the month of January until April 2009 both cities were able to achieve an increase of overnight stays despite of the global crisis. While Hamburg states an increase of 0.1 %, the amount in Berlin grew even 1.2%.

Nevertheless, we are aware of the fact that due to the peaking competition in Europe, it is highly important to illustrate a certain presence in order to promote Hamburg's advantages as a location.
